Police are intensifying efforts to uncover new details regarding the murder of 78-year-old Gezim Vija in Korçë, whose body was found lifeless in his apartment a day earlier. The victim's neighbor, Simon Muço, expressed that Gezim had no conflicts with anyone and added that he also got along very well with his sons. "Gezim was a very good man, honorable, respected by everyone, he wouldn't harm a fly. I live abroad, when I came here they told me about Gezim. We were shocked... When he was around, he respected us; he was highly respected by children, women, and men. I don't know how this happened, he had no conflicts with anyone; we left doors and cars open, it's a quiet neighborhood. He was the best in the whole neighborhood. I live abroad, I arrived the day before yesterday; when I found out, I didn't feel well. He had no conflicts with anyone; he got along very well with his sons. They had even cut off one of his lights. He was a retiree, while his son worked here as a mechanic; he came every evening, working with washing machines and refrigerators," says the neighbor.
