In her closing statement at the trial for the murder of Liridona Ademaj, prosecutor Javorka Perlinçeviç requested life imprisonment for the three accused: Naim Murseli, Granit Palava, and Kushtrim Kokalla.
During the session, prosecutor Javorka Perlinçeviç stated that the evidence has proven that Murseli planned the murder of his spouse due to marital issues and financial gain.
"The evidence proves that the accused committed the criminal act," emphasized Perlinçeviç.
Ademaj's murder occurred in the presence of her children, who were 4 and 6 years old at the time.
The prosecution also highlighted that Ademaj's murder was carried out with the intention of benefiting from life insurance.
"In this judicial review, it was proven that in June 2022, the Murseli family paid life insurance in the name of Liridona Murseli. Immediately after this, Naim asked Kushtrim Kokalla to find a way to kill Liridona, meaning that life insurance for Liridona was knowingly paid," declared Perlinçeviç.
