Specialists from the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation have detained E. Q., 38, a resident of Përmet. The 38-year-old is suspected of having stolen significant sums of money from the post office cash register during the period 2019-2025, while working as an accountant/cashier at the Albanian Post branch in Përmet. Meanwhile, specialists from the Cybercrime Investigation referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office for citizen F. Z., 44, a resident of Memaliaj, who has reported that his personal data were used to create a bank account and a debit card at a bank in Spain through computer systems. The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastër for further action.
