An accident has been reported in the area known as Folesha, in Gjirokastër, where a municipal vehicle transporting sand for roadworks suffered a brake failure, hitting several vehicles ahead.
Top Channel correspondent Entjola Dudo reports that a defect in the braking system is suspected to be the cause of the accident, which prevented the driver from stopping in time. As a result, the vehicle first collided with several parked cars along the road axis.
Furthermore, it also struck another vehicle, a Benz-type car, which was entering a turn at the moment of the accident, causing material damage and two injuries, not life-threatening. A residential building was also damaged as a result of the collision.
