Albanian-American activist Evi Kokalari has commented on Viktor Orban's loss in Hungary after 16 years and the victory of Peter Magyar. In a social media post, Kokalari writes that only she can win against Sali Berisha in the race for the head of the Democratic Party (PD), as she has always exposed his corruption.

Kokalari says that Berisha promised radical changes in the PD, but ended up selling the local elections and shutting down the party.

"Peter Magyar, who defeated Viktor Orban today in Hungary, was once part of his party until he left and began exposing the regime's corruption. Today, even after Viktor Orban received public support from Donald Trump, JD Vance, and even from Israel, he suffered a massive loss.

The same goes for me: I turned against Sali Berisha for corruption after he promised radical changes for the Democratic Party of Albania, but instead, he sold the local elections and hermetically sealed the party.

I guarantee you: only I can win against Sali Berisha and Edi Rama. I have spared no one when it comes to exposing corruption, including those I once had as friends in the USA and with whom we are still dealing," writes Kokalari.

According to her, the elections in Hungary sent a clear message to Sali Berisha that "not even $10 million will buy support to continue holding the PD, the opposition, and consequently, radical changes in Albania hostage. If Viktor Orban, with all his power and support, lost, you don't have even 1/10,000 of his weight or strength."
