SPAK requested yesterday checks in Durrës Prison for telephone devices, including the cells of former minister Ilir Beqaj, mayor Erion Veliaj, and businessman Aurel Zarka. The request from the special prosecutors to the prison police came after tensions in the administrative court, where Mayor Veliaj made accusations about the appointment process of one of the case's prosecutors. Additionally, SPAK has also requested the list of meetings that Veliaj has had.
