Visit to a relative ends in self-inflicted injury. Saranda police announce that they have initiated criminal proceedings against two citizens, I. K., 59, and B. K., 33. It is suspected that I. K. was the victim of an accidental incident. His cousin was taken in because he is reported to have hidden the weapon after the incident.
POLICE NOTICE – Specialists from the Crime Investigation Section at the Vlora Police Commissariat referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against the citizens: - I. K., 59, resident of Saranda, as it is suspected that, at the home of a relative in the "10 Korriku" neighborhood, he self-inflicted a gunshot wound (with a pistol). The 59-year-old was transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana. In connection with this incident, citizen B. K., 33, resident of Saranda, was also processed while at large, as he is suspected of removing the firearm from the scene. The weapon (pistol) was seized as material evidence.
