Italian police in Cesena have arrested a 37-year-old Albanian man on charges of involvement in drug trafficking. The young man had entered Italy as a tourist but was caught by patrols distributing cocaine yesterday. Authorities stated that during a patrol in the "Gardens" area of Cesena, officers noticed a man behaving suspiciously among the benches in the public park. They checked and identified him using his passport. The investigation revealed that he had made frequent short-term visits to Italy, with his last entry dating back to the end of January. When asked to explain his presence in the Cesena area, the Albanian gave vague and unfounded answers, also showing signs of nervousness and impatience, to the point of attempting to avoid detection. The officers decided to take him to the police station for further investigation. After a personal search, officers found several doses of cocaine, cleverly hidden within the seams of his jacket. The narcotic substance, weighing approximately 50 grams, was seized, and the 37-year-old Albanian was arrested for possession with intent to distribute drugs and handed over to judicial authorities. The arrest was confirmed in a hearing by the judge, who ordered his pre-trial detention.
