In China, the latest innovation in the world of car accessories is found under the seat. Seres, a brand linked to the giant Aito, has decided to directly tackle one of the most awkward situations experienced by every driver: the urgent need to use the toilet during a traffic jam or in an isolated camping area.

According to the filed patent, the company has designed a hidden toilet that can transform the car cabin into a private bathroom. The idea is not for passengers to relieve themselves at 130 km/h, but to have a practical solution during long waits.

The system is described as an example of integration within the vehicle cabin: the toilet slides out on rails like a drawer and, after use, activates an advanced protocol for odor management. Additionally, the device includes a heating element for waste treatment, as well as a removable tank that can be easily taken out.

But why go this far? The reason is related to the fierce competition among Chinese vehicle manufacturers, who are constantly seeking new ideas to attract attention in a market saturated with similar offerings. However, from idea to production, there are still many question marks. Beyond the difficulties of cleaning and maintaining the tanks, it remains unclear whether the public is ready to accept such a level of "cohabitation" within the limited space of a car.
