An unusual incident occurred overnight in the "8 Shkurti" neighborhood of Fier, where a person lost his life under strange circumstances, suspected of attempting a theft. According to preliminary information, the victim, a man around 40 years old and still unidentified, attempted to enter an apartment by breaking the window glass. He is suspected of having climbed using a ladder, but during the attempt to enter, he lost his balance after the ladder slipped from under his feet. As a result, half of his body became trapped in the window, leaving him hanging for hours overnight, which is suspected to have caused his death. The lifeless body was discovered in the morning by a neighbor, who was looking after the apartment in the owner's absence. According to Nikollaq Lules, the brother of the apartment owner, the three-story house belongs to Uan Lules, who has been in Greece with his children for about a month. He adds that the neighbors immediately notified the police upon discovering the incident. Police forces arrived at the scene and carried out procedural actions to fully clarify the circumstances. Meanwhile, the victim's body has been sent to the morgue in Fier, while authorities are working to identify him. Nikollaq Lules, the brother of the apartment owner, stated: "The apartment belongs to my brother, who has been in Greece for a month. A neighbor who looks after the house found him in the window and notified the police."
