Lebanese citizens displaced by recent fighting have begun returning to their homes following the implementation of a 10-day ceasefire that temporarily ended the six-week clashes between Israel and the armed group Hezbollah.
Published footage shows dozens of people traveling on foot and by vehicle toward their residential areas, with returns also noted in the southern city of Sidon.
A day earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the parties, Israel and Lebanon, had agreed to a temporary ceasefire, which he said was expected to take effect within hours.
