U.S. President Donald Trump will retain the luxury plane previously leased by former Secretary Kristi Noem for Department of Homeland Security use, and it will be utilized by his wife, Melania Trump, reports the Daily Beast. The leasing of this plane, valued at tens of millions of dollars, was one of the biggest controversies during Noem's tenure, and the decision to lease it is said to be one of the reasons that led to her dismissal. However, Trump has decided to keep the luxury aircraft, granting Melania the right to use it. According to reports, the plane, which was initially intended for mass deportations, is lavishly equipped: it features a double bed, several bathrooms, a television, and even a bar. Some Trump administration members told the Wall Street Journal that this plane is more luxurious than most aircraft used by U.S. government officials. The funds for leasing the plane were secured from the budget allocated for deportations, one of the main responsibilities of the ministry led by Noem.
