U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that the leaders of Lebanon and Israel are expected to hold talks, in what could be the first meeting of this level in over three decades. In a post on the Truth Social platform, Trump highlighted efforts to reduce tensions between the two countries. โ€œI am trying to create a little breathing room between Israel and Lebanon. It has been a long time since the two leaders have spoken, about 34 years. It will happen tomorrow. Beautiful!โ€ he wrote. Meanwhile, Iranโ€™s foreign minister stated that Tehran remains committed to promoting peace after meeting with the head of Pakistanโ€™s military.
