An Albanian woman has suffered serious injuries as a result of a workplace accident at a factory in Greece. The 40-year-old woman of Albanian origin, who was in the country illegally, was taken to the hospital in serious condition. This occurred after her hair got caught in a machine she was operating, causing severe head injuries.
Greek media report that she sustained injuries to the head area and lost a large amount of hair, as well as suffering damage to the skin on her forehead. Despite the severe injury, she is out of danger. At the factory where the woman was working illegally, her employer, a 42-year-old Greek man, was arrested but released with a verbal order.
According to information, the Albanian woman was initially transported accompanied by two individuals who claimed to have found her on the street. Doctors discovered that she could walk on her own, although she was frightened and not speaking.
