A serious incident has occurred in Italy, where a 46-year-old woman threw herself and her three children from the window of her third-floor apartment. The tragedy took place in Catanzaro, where the mother and her two young sons, aged 4 and 4 months, died instantly, while her 5-year-old daughter is in critical condition in intensive care at the hospital.
The cause of this severe event is not yet known, but according to media reports, the woman suffered from mild mental health issues. Neighbors describe her as a calm, reserved, and deeply religious person.
The husband was also at home when the incident occurred and reportedly woke up hearing noises. Realizing what had happened, he went out into the street and tried to save the children before emergency services arrived.
