A tragedy occurred in Suio Terme, Italy, where a 7-year-old child lost his life after drowning in a thermal pool. According to preliminary information, the minor is suspected to have been trapped underwater by a suction inlet of the pool system, unable to surface. Emergency services intervened immediately with an ambulance and helicopter, but despite efforts, they were unable to save his life. The child was on vacation with his family. Carabinieri also arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident, while the case is being followed by the Cassino prosecutor's office. The incident comes just days after another tragic case in Rimini, where a 12-year-old lost his life under similar circumstances, raising concerns about safety standards in swimming pools.
