As a result of intensive investigative actions, carried out immediately after reports from several citizens/administrators of establishments regarding theft of property and assets, the services of Police Commissariat No. 6 finalized the coded operation 'Penalty', during which the suspected perpetrator of several cases in this area, citizen A. H., 26 years old, was located, captured, and handcuffed. From the investigations, it is suspected that the 26-year-old, during the month of April 2026, stole sums of money and products from 4 establishments, as well as attempted to steal from an apartment and an establishment. From further verifications, it resulted that this citizen was under the security measure 'House Arrest', for the criminal offense 'Domestic Violence'. The investigation continues to uncover other thefts that citizen A. H. may have committed. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, for further actions," it is stated in the police announcement.
