Kosovo's Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, distanced himself from the statements made by MP Fatos Geci, emphasizing that he is not the head of any disciplinary committee, let alone responsible for claims made by someone from another party. The statement from the MP of the Vetëvendosje Movement Parliamentary Group, who comes from the "Lista Guxo," has sparked numerous reactions in the country. Geci earlier stated in parliament that Hashim Thaçi would face the same fate as Naim Murseli, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his wife, Liridona Ademaj. Kurti once again reiterated his party's stance on the Special Court. Geci made the controversial claim in response to statements by MP Arian Tahiri of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), who had said during the parliamentary session that ruling party MPs were beginning to tremble because they sensed Thaçi's return to politics.
