A 32-year-old man has been arrested in Tirana, after attempting to kill a 21-year-old in Shkodër more than two months ago.
As a result of information managed in cooperation with the Shkodër Prosecutor's Office, during the coded operation "Operacionalja 89," citizen E. K., 32, a resident of the village of Grudë e Re, Shkodër, was arrested in Tirana. He is suspected of the criminal offenses "Murder under other qualifying circumstances" attempted, "Disturbance of public peace," and "Unauthorized possession of weapons and ammunition."
The 32-year-old is accused of attempting to kill A. M., 21, with a firearm on January 16, 2026, in the area known as "Kryqëzimi i Vinotekës" in Shkodër, during a conflict over trivial reasons.
During the operation, E. K., 27, a resident of the same village, was also arrested. He was driving the "Audi" vehicle used by the 32-year-old to travel in the "Freskut" area of Tirana. The 27-year-old is charged with "Aiding the perpetrator of the crime."
The vehicle has been seized, and the procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
