Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about his visit to Athens and his meeting with his Greek counterpart, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, during the podcast "Flasim," emphasizing the importance of this meeting for relations between the two countries.

"I went to participate in the forum, but I had the pleasure of being received by the Prime Minister of Greece and a valued friend, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, with whom we took stock of the progress of the joint group we have established to finally address all outstanding issues," he said.

Rama noted that there is full readiness from the Greek side to move this process forward.

"I am very pleased to say that on the part of the Prime Minister, there is an absolute will to prioritize addressing all outstanding issues... to confirm within this year, through a new strategic partnership document, the very special nature of the relationship between the two countries," Rama stated.

According to Rama, there is continuous support from Greece for Albania's European integration.

"To support Albania as always... on its path to membership in the European Union," Rama declared.

In conclusion, the head of the Albanian government expressed optimism about the future of relations between the two countries.

"I am very optimistic and at the same time very confident that, thanks also to the personal commitment of Prime Minister Mitsotakis, we will know how to address the outstanding issues and further strengthen our relationship... both for the Greek minority in Albania and for Albanians in Greece," he concluded.
