The country's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, gathered the mayors this Friday at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana. The meeting started at 11:00, and a review was made of the work carried out by municipalities across the country. The media has secured the orders that Prime Minister Edi Rama has given to the socialist mayors. Special focus was given to the "Mountain Package," a government initiative aimed at giving a development boost to the country's areas. Rama also called for increased commitment in waste management, processing, and cleaning, especially in tourist areas. Meanwhile, another point, which was left as a task by Prime Minister Rama, was the establishment of civil emergencies at the local level. The Socialist Party has intensified meetings with citizens, and in focus, besides the analysis of daily work, are also the local elections, which will be held in 2027.
