The National Authority for Cyber Security, through an official announcement, has refuted the claims of "Homeland Justice" regarding a cyber attack on Albanian institutions. The announcement states that the circulating material is an official communication from AKSK to critical information infrastructures. Therefore, it is not classified communication.
"The National Authority for Cyber Security (AKSK) clarifies to the public that the recently published claims about a compromise of our institution are false. The circulated material constitutes an official communication from AKSK addressed to critical and important information infrastructures, within the framework of institutional cooperation, and is not internal communication.
AKSK continues to operate normally and remains committed to ensuring cybersecurity, as well as to the accurate and transparent information of the public. For any official information, citizens and the media are invited to refer only to the official channels of AKSK," says the official announcement.
