The renowned actress, Mariana Kondi, shared a humorous anecdote on the Grida Duma podcast, recalling a special episode with the late actor, Metë Bega. "Meti was an actor that people adored... whenever he appeared, everyone would laugh," said Kondi, reminiscing about the energy he brought everywhere. She recounted that during a trip to Padua, the organizers had created a misunderstanding, thinking they were a couple. "They welcomed us at the airport and told us we would sleep at their house... when we went, they had put me in a room with Meti," she revealed. Finding herself in an awkward situation, the actress tried to react: "I said, Meti, where are we going to sleep? These people are completely foolish..." Then, the night took a comical turn: "Meti grabbed a sofa, I took an armchair... I couldn't sleep. He started snoring and I took the pillow and threw it at him." The noise caused the hosts to intervene: "What's going on?... You have a life together and you're not used to it?" Metë Bega's reaction revealed everything: "What life? Where are we husband and wife?" "I burst into laughter," said Kondi, adding that the situation was only clarified in the morning, when the hosts understood the misunderstanding and tried to compensate with hospitality.
