In the "Top Story" studio, where the extensive dossiers held by SPAK were discussed, journalist Elton Qyno expressed that many of the investigations have shortcomings. According to him, there is a lack of evidence, witnesses, as well as numerous issues with financial expertise reports. The journalist cited several cases, such as those of Veliaj, Meta, or the Kardhiq-Delvinรซ tender, noting that SPAK's work has declined as a large portion of trials are being postponed.
"Klodian Braho has been at the helm of SPAK for 3 months. More focus should be placed on how these dossiers will proceed and what the outcome in court will be. Most have entered the trial phase, and the confrontation between parties begins. Up to this point, only the prosecution's side has been heard, but in court, the other party is also present. You see a different reality; many of SPAK's dossiers are faltering in multiple directionsโin evidence, witnesses, financial expertise reports. If the report is not even considered by the court, it orders three other experts to keep the issue under discussion. Take the case of Mr. Meta, where the financial report is contested. The prosecution itself appointed an expert in one case who had been convicted, leading to absurd penalties. There are many other contested issues as well. SPAK takes you to court and provides very little material, yet when it comes to court, it presents the judge with about 100 folders. The parties must familiarize themselves with all the investigative materials, which is why these delays occur. Erion Veliaj is delaying because he hasn't received the dossier and doesn't have time to read 60,000 pages within a week. It seems SPAK's work has declined, as a large portion of trials are being postponed," stated Elton Qyno.
