An unusual social media exchange has gone viral in recent hours, centering on a young man from Kosovo and NASA itself. It all started after the publication of some impressive images from the Artemis II mission, showing the far side of the Moon with Earth in the background. However, not all users were convinced of the authenticity of these images.

Among many comments, that of Nexhi Krasniqi stood out, raising doubts about the absence of stars in the photos and suggesting they might have been created by artificial intelligence.

This comment received a direct response from NASA, which explained the scientific reason behind this phenomenon. According to the agency, stars do not appear in these images because they are much dimmer compared to the bright illumination of the Moon, which reflects far more light. Additionally, cameras have limitations in capturing contrast between very bright and very dark elements.
