Famous American comedian Pete Davidson appears to have slowed down his tattoo removal process, opting instead to add a new one with deep personal meaning.
Some time ago, Davidson had nearly 200 tattoos on his body. During an interview on *Late Night with Seth Meyers* in May 2021, he revealed that he had started the removal process, an expensive procedure expected to cost him around $200,000.
"It takes about three hours, and you have to show up three hours early to cover all the tattoos," he said at the time.
However, it seems his relationship with tattoos isn't entirely over. Recently, according to *E! News*, Davidson appeared at CinemaCon with a small new tattoo on the side of his face, near his ear, reading the name "Scottie."
This tattoo is a tribute to his newborn daughter, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, who was born in December 2025. Together with his partner, Elsie Hewitt, they became parents. The couple has described the little one as "our perfect angel."
The name Scottie holds special significance for the comedian, as it honors his late father, Scott, a firefighter who lost his life during the 9/11 attacks.
In a recent interview with *People Magazine*, Davidson spoke openly about his experience as a first-time father, highlighting his partner's role.
"I'm very lucky because Elsie is an amazing mother. It's beautiful to see someone step into this role and do it so naturally," he said, adding that the experience of parenthood is "sweet and a lot of fun."
Despite having removed a large portion of his tattoos over the years, one he has chosen to keep is a tribute to former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. He got this tattoo after she lost the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump.
