Prime Minister Edi Rama lashed out at the opposition during the PS Assembly in Lushnja, focusing on their attempts to negatively influence Albania's EU accession process. "It has never happened that parties set off after the holidays and go to European capitals to tear their own country apart. I say with regret that only they do this, whom I cannot say we have in front of us, but behind us, always further behind. These things do not happen, people do not lose their minds to slander their own country in a foreign language. They delude themselves into thinking they can defeat us here by appearing on television outside the country, they delude themselves into thinking they can defeat us here by barking in Brussels. They delude themselves into thinking they will bring us down and elevate themselves; the more they do this, the deeper they will sink," said Rama.
