One of Europe's largest auctions dedicated to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, will take place on June 3 at the Aguttes auction house in Neuilly-sur-Seine, near Paris. The event is expected to feature around 50 rare items from the legendary artist's career.
Among the most prized objects is the famous glove adorned with Swarovski crystals, which Jackson wore during performances of the song "Billie Jean" on the "Bad" tour. Its value is estimated between 100,000 and 150,000 euros.
The auction also includes a hat and a sequined jacket from the 1984 "Victory" tour, as well as costumes linked to iconic projects such as the "Scream" music video. In addition, autographs, fashion accessories, and three drawings created by the singer himself will be offered.
All these items come from the collection of Norwegian collector Richard Fossaas, who has gathered them over the years. The collection is currently part of a private archive in the United States.
Before the auction, the public will have the opportunity to view the items up close during a special exhibition to be held on May 30, June 1, and June 2 at the Aguttes premises.
Interest in Michael Jackson's life and work has grown significantly recently, especially following the release of the biographical film "Michael," which is currently screening in theaters worldwide.
