Two prostitution bases were uncovered today in the city of Durrës, while four Chinese nationals suspected of involvement were also arrested.

Police reported that the coded operation "Storm 17," carried out by Trafficking Investigation Specialists in cooperation with the Special Operational Force, had been monitored for about four weeks using special investigative methods.

As a result, four Chinese nationals were caught in the act and arrested. They had rented two premises in the beach area, adapting them for prostitution activities.

Additionally, four other citizens from Durrës, Kavajë, Shijak, and Kosovo have been criminally charged while at large for the criminal offense of "Prostitution."

"During the operation, four passports and a sum of money were seized as material evidence. According to investigations, the illegal activity was conducted in two rented premises in tourist areas, which were specially adapted for this purpose. The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Durrës for further action," announced the police.
