Following the "Mountain Package" initiative, Rama stated that the Albanian government is preparing another important program to support entrepreneurship. In cooperation with the Bank of Albania and second-tier banks, a new credit scheme with more favorable interest rates and state guarantees is expected to launch soon. The program aims to help small and medium-sized businesses, as well as start-ups, expand their activities and transform into stronger, more competitive enterprises in the market.
"After the Mountain Package comes a new program by the Albanian government, together with the Bank of Albania and second-tier banks, which will soon be signed to begin its journey and welcome all those who wish to double their enterprise.
A powerful credit program with interest rates more reasonable than the commercial rates of second-tier banks and with guarantees from the Albanian government is finally ready to serve all those Albanians who, with courage, will, and foresight, have chosen to pave their way through entrepreneurship; who have chosen to create a small business that is now ready to grow but needs financial support that they otherwise cannot secure.
This is a new path, and soon, all those who have a small or medium-sized enterprise, all those who have a production point they want to double and expand, all those who have a start-up and want to transform it into a productive, profitable enterprise, will have the door open to the 'Double Your Enterprise' program," Rama said.
