The Special Court has accepted Sali Berisha's request to be called as a witness in the "Partizani" case involving Prime Minister Edi Rama. Speaking to journalists today outside the Parliament premises, Berisha said he eagerly awaits this "confrontation," as he calls it. "Any serious judge would decide to prosecute Rama for those acts, but also the summons... we will be face to face, and you tell him to be a man and not to request a session without media. Let Albanians see who Edi Rama is in that affair, what corrupt acts he has committed by changing the destination without any request from the owners but only for his own pocket. I seek and have sought confrontation with Edi Rama; he is the man who has a terrible corrupt affair, having signed a change of destination without the owners' request," said Berisha.
