Hundreds of Orthodox believers in the city of Vlora participated this Friday in the sacred ceremony of the Epitaph procession, one of the most important rituals preceding the Easter celebration. The Epitaph, carried by clergy and accompanied by numerous believers, was solemnly paraded, while police were present to ensure the smooth running of the event and to facilitate vehicle traffic. With candles in hand and in an atmosphere of devotion, citizens followed this annual tradition, which symbolizes the pain and hope for Christ's resurrection, wishing for peace and happiness on this holy day.
