A physiotherapy center in Tirana was discovered to be used as a venue for prostitution activities, following an investigation conducted by the police.
According to the official announcement, the services of Police Station No. 2, in cooperation with the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, finalized a three-month investigation, leading to the arrest in flagrante delicto of the owner of the establishment, a 40-year-old woman with the initials B. G. She is accused of the criminal offense "Exploitation of prostitution."
Meanwhile, a 41-year-old woman has been criminally charged under the offense "Prostitution" while remaining at large, as she is suspected of having practiced it within the premises of this center.
The incident was confirmed at an establishment operating as a physiotherapy center, located on "Ismail Qemali" street in Tirana, where, according to investigations, illegal activities were also taking place.
During the intervention, the police seized a sum of money suspected to have been obtained from this activity.
The materials have been referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for the continuation of investigations and further procedures.
