The country's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, stopped by the upcoming local elections. At the Socialist Party assembly in Unit 12 in Tirana, Rama expressed that the Socialist Party has the capacity to win in every Voting Center. He also stated that the SP has the historical duty to lead Albania into the EU, adding that all 27 member countries want us. "The SP has the capacity to do better and win more. There is no Voting Center that cannot be won, only where the work is not done as it should be. We need the awareness that this work and effort, we have a greater duty than to ourselves or for ourselves. This major reason is the historical opportunity that has come into our hands. Conditions have been created to see the door of Europe, near and fully open. It is not enough. We could have done everything and still it would not be enough. We must do the maximum so that the open door closes only after we have entered inside. We have the tasks according to the calendar they have set for us. I have explained it even in the campaign. Now it is concrete, it is Brussels, it is all the offices and employees who deal with reforms, follow all the measures, actions that happen and make the report for the second floor. They report how the work has been done, on the second floor there are 27 countries that sit with consensus to make the decision. Every EU decision is made by consensus, today all countries on the second floor say we want Albania. Therefore, we have opened all negotiations in such a short time, no country has done it before. We are alone in this battle, because others who do not vote for the SP are against us. Let's take advantage of this moment and enter the EU," said Rama.
