A large quantity of unexploded Molotov cocktails were seized by the police, about 30 of them. A number of them were planned to be thrown at the Parliament, but the scenario did not work as the police blocked the road with a security cordon. The only Molotov cocktails thrown were those at the Prime Minister's office. Meanwhile, so far over 20 people have been escorted to the police. Sali Berisha marched from the Democratic Party headquarters towards the Prime Minister's office to join the protesters in the square. As soon as Berisha gave the signal by waving the national flag, the protesters began throwing Molotov cocktails and fireworks. However, this moment did not last long. Following instructions from Chief of Police Hita, the forces intervened to disperse them, using water, tear gas, and spray. The protest moved to the Parliament, but the police had set an ambush, a moment that led to clashes. Aulon Kalaja and Luciano Boรงi were sent to the hospital after feeling unwell due to the use of spray.
