A special prosecutor at SPAK who has led investigations with several states, Ened Nakuçi, reveals to "Exclusive" with Anila Hoxha the existence of two types of call centers, the most well-known being the phantom ones. Nakuçi says: "In our work experience, it turns out that some of them have been legal and registered with the relevant offices, but along with that, they also carry out computer fraud against European citizens. The other typology is without being registered with tax authorities, without being reported." Albanians, Israelis, Italians, Ukrainians continue to be under investigation as part of networks that have international activity. Florenc Hidri, information technology professor: "Here we are talking about mixed groups, since we are not dealing with a call center activity, but with criminal activity, but with individuals who have different roles and functions, starting from virtual sellers who offer such lists of phone numbers that are sold online, to those who launder the money." Ened Nakuçi adds: "The investigation of criminal groups is the competence of SPAK, and therefore SPAK has become part of the investigations. The call centers, in themselves, have role divisions, in themselves the groups are structured, the operators who make calls to victims, further the consultants and managers, specialists who maintain the software and call groups, to those who decide which language will be spoken: Italian, German, Spanish, Greek."
