Former Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani received a letter from U.S. President Donald Trump at the conclusion of her term. In her post, Osmani emphasized that Kosovo's strong bond with America will always be preserved, while thanking President Trump for his appreciation. "We will preserve Kosovo's strong bond with America together, today and forever! I thank President Trump for the letter sent at the end of my term, which I received last night, as well as for the appreciation he has shown for our work! As the U.S. President also highlights in this letter, we welcome the continuation of cooperation in the coming years," writes Osmani. President Trump expressed gratitude for the cooperation with Osmani at the end of her term as Kosovo's president. "Dear Madam President! Thank you for your very kind letter. I continue to admire your bold and decisive leadership on behalf of the people of Kosovo. We have achieved much together in a short period—especially our cooperation within the framework of the Peace Board. Kosovo's participation in this promising new initiative will play an extraordinary role in ending conflicts worldwide, while simultaneously promoting freedom and well-being for both our peoples. As you soon depart from your duties, you will leave behind an important legacy that will shape the future of your country, the Balkan region, and all of Europe.
