A 19-year-old Albanian has been arrested by Italian carabinieri in Cesenatico (Forlì province), suspected of drug distribution. According to authorities, the young man was caught red-handed handing over a dose of cocaine weighing approximately 1.2 grams to a buyer. Following the intervention, officers detained both individuals and searched the 19-year-old, finding in his jacket pocket 7 doses of cocaine with a total weight of about 5 grams, as well as 385 euros in cash, believed to have been obtained from the illegal activity.
Investigations continued in the surrounding area, where in a flower garden—a location where the young man had been seen earlier—an additional 56 doses of cocaine were discovered, weighing around 42 grams, hidden in four metal chewing gum containers.
Searches were then extended to his residence, where two more doses of cocaine, one dose of marijuana, approximately 1,500 euros in cash, as well as two electronic scales and materials used for drug packaging were seized. The court in Forlì has confirmed the young man's arrest, imposing on him the measure of mandatory residence in the Forlì-Cesena province until the next court hearing, which is expected to take place at the end of May.
