The Port of Koman is "not ready" for the tourist season due to pollution, said Shkodra MP Marjana Koçeku in Parliament. She called for a concrete plan to expand and rehabilitate the port, turning it into a dignified point for tourists. "As the MP for that area, I demand a concrete plan for the expansion of the Port of Koman, including a dignified waiting area for all visitors, separation of cargo and passenger traffic, basic sanitary infrastructure, and a safe navigation zone with clear rules. This is an area that attracts and is visited by hundreds of tourists every year. We need to change the face of that place so it looks like a dignified gateway to the Albanian Alps," Koçeku said.
