As the director of ViK, Adnan Šerak, told Klix.ba, water supply in certain parts of Sarajevo began at 7 p.m. We were informed that full normalization is expected in five hours, i.e., during the night between Wednesday and Thursday.

To recall, in the early morning hours, work began on installing an electromagnetic flow meter on the DN 500 distribution pipeline, at the location of Sulejmana ef. Musića Street, at the corner with Safeta Hadžića Street.

According to information from the field, in the afternoon hours, the successful dismantling and cutting of the existing DN 500 pipeline was carried out, followed by the installation of the new electromagnetic flow meter.

They emphasize that the implementation of this modern device enables significantly more precise monitoring of water flow, more efficient detection of losses and faults in the network, as well as a faster response in case of disruptions.

"The new system further contributes to improving planning and optimizing the operation of the entire water supply system. These activities represent a continuation of the strategic process of modernization and digitization of the water supply network, with the aim of increasing system security and reducing water losses," stated ViK.
