The next session of the "Golden Bullet" case was held this Thursday at the Special Court.

During the session, Erjon Alibej testified before the panel, providing details about his acquaintance with Plaurent Dervishaj. He stated that their contact dates back to 2019, shortly before the assassination attempt against him, which he said occurred in March or early April of that year.

According to the testimony, the meeting with Dervishaj was aimed at clarifying the serious events that had affected his family, as Alibej sought to learn the perpetrators of the crimes against his relatives.

Continuing his account, he added that Dervishaj used encrypted communication applications such as EncroChat and Sky ECC, operating under the pseudonym "Barcelona" on the latter.

Erjon Alibej: I have known Plaurent Dervishaj since 2019, before the assassination attempt against him in March or early April. We met at "Liri i Cigareve," which has a factory in Librazhd. Plaurent came with another guy, whom I later identified as "Mond Çekiçi." He was in a dark blue BMW 7 Series. The reason for the meeting was the events that had happened to my family. I was inquiring about who had committed the crimes against my family. Plaurent was known as "Lenti." I had the EncroChat and Sky ECC applications. My pseudonyms were "Noku" and "Kumi." Plaurent had both platforms. On Sky, his pseudonym was "Barcelona." We communicated when the assassination attempt against him occurred in Durrës. I told him, thank God you survived. Whatever I heard about the assassination attempt against him, I would tell him. He would judge for himself what he considered valuable information. In the meeting with Plaurent, I first heard the name Redjan Rraja when an assassination attempt was made on a prosecutor. When the assassination happened, I knew well that he had done it. When I asked Plaurent and said, how is it possible that the perpetrator was discovered so quickly, Plaurent told me the name Redjan Rraja. He said, yes, he is my friend, and he forced his way into the car with the guys, wanting to be part of it too," said Erjon Alibej.
