New details have emerged from the incident that occurred on Friday afternoon in Laknas, where a woman was accidentally shot with a hunting rifle. Police reported that the injured party is a female citizen with the initials E. L., around 30 years old, who was in the yard of her uncle's house at the time of the incident. According to initial information, the woman's uncle, a 73-year-old with the initials N. Sh., fired a hunting rifle with the intention of scaring away an animal, and as a result, a stray pellet injured his niece in the face. As a result of investigative actions, the 73-year-old was identified and escorted to the Police Station for further procedural actions, while the 30-year-old, after receiving medical treatment, returned home. Around 3:30 PM, it was reported that citizen E. L., around 30 years old, had arrived at the polyclinic in Kamëz for medical treatment. Immediately, the Investigation Team went to the scene to clarify the circumstances of the case and identify and apprehend the perpetrator. As a result of investigative actions, citizen N. Sh., around 73 years old, a resident of Laknas, was identified and escorted to the Police Station for further procedural actions. Preliminary suspicions indicate that the 73-year-old fired a hunting rifle with the intention of scaring away an animal, and as a result, a stray pellet injured citizen E. L., who was standing in the yard of her uncle's house in Laknas. The 30-year-old returned home after receiving medical treatment. Work continues to fully document the case.
