The Tirana Court has upheld the security measure of "prison arrest" for the two brothers Jurgen and Kevin Neza and their cousin Hysen Neza, who took the builder Florian Sula hostage a few days ago.
The three detainees did not speak in the courtroom, but their defense lawyer claimed that they did not take Sula hostage; rather, the latter owed them a debt of 60,000 euros and they took him by vehicle to clarify the matter. The lawyer claimed that his clients, upon realizing that Florian Sula was financially unable to compensate the amount of money, released him.
One of them, the defense emphasized, turned himself in after learning he was wanted, while the other two were in moments of depression and under the influence of narcotic substances, but did not present documentation in court to prove this claim.
A few days ago, the three detainees presented themselves as agents of the BKH and kidnapped the 32-year-old, holding him hostage for several hours in a private facility. According to preliminary investigations, on March 31, the three young men kidnapped, assaulted, and demanded 2 million euros from Florian Sula in exchange for his release. Sula promised the three individuals that he would give them an amount of 500,000 euros, but the businessman reported the case to the police after his release.
