Democratic MP Klevis Balliu was affected by tear gas during the PD protest. Following Luciano Boçi and Aulon Kalaja, Balliu was also urgently sent to the hospital. Activist Aulon Kalaja was later transported by stretcher via ambulance to the hospital in an unconscious state. Initially, after the conclusion of Sali Berisha's speech, protesters threw Molotov cocktails and fireworks towards the Prime Minister's Office. This situation prompted police intervention with tear gas, a circumstance suspected to have also caused Kalaja's condition, who fell to the ground unconscious. On the other hand, Luciano Boçi experienced breathing difficulties from the tear gas and was subsequently taken to the hospital by ambulance.
