Iran has warned that it will undertake "more devastating" and "broader" retaliatory strikes if U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on civilian targets continue.
A spokesperson for Iran's Central Staff stated that it has been made clear from the beginning that any attack on non-military targets will be met with a strong response.
"Any aggression against non-military countries will be followed by a scaled response to the enemy's interests across the entire region," they expressed.
The spokesperson added that if the attacks continue, they will "impose much higher costs on the responsible parties," warning of severe consequences in case of further escalation.
