The incident occurred in the city of Nantong, where the performer was executing a dance with fire elements, wearing a long dress surrounded by a ring of flames. Initially, everything appeared under control and part of the choreography, but the situation spiraled out of control when the flames began to spread across her body.
Dramatic footage shows the moment the ballerina, engulfed in fire, starts running in panic along the shore as the flames climb toward her hair. She desperately tries to escape until she jumps into the nearby river to extinguish the fire. Fortunately, after swift intervention, the ballerina was taken to the hospital and is reported to be out of life-threatening danger, with no serious injuries.
