The opposition will hold a national protest this Friday in Tirana, which is expected to begin at 19:00 in front of the Prime Minister's Office building. The gathering has been announced by the Democratic Party of Albania and will last until 22:00 on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard. The Tirana Police have taken measures for the smooth running of the protest and have warned of traffic restrictions on several main city arteries. Since the evening of the previous day, parking has been prohibited on a section of the boulevard, while this afternoon several roads around the protest area will be blocked. Among the affected segments are "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, from the area near the Ministry of Internal Affairs to "Nënë Tereza" Square, as well as "Free Ukraine" Street, "Pope John Paul II" Street, and "Ismail Qemali" Street. The police have asked organizers to respect the schedule and location of the gathering, while citizens have been called upon for understanding due to movement restrictions. It has also been requested that any actions that could disrupt order and safety during the protest be avoided.
