A wedding that was supposed to be the happiest day of her life ended in an unusual incident for a 31-year-old bride in Britain, who lost consciousness due to excessive alcohol consumption. Danielle Crowther, a mother of one, married her partner Lewis after a ceremony that began normally in Kent. But during the reception, the situation took an unexpected turn. She recounts that, due to anxiety, she hadn't eaten during the preparations, while throughout the evening she was constantly offered various drinks.
"During the reception, they kept giving me drinks, and I sat down next to my child and just passed out," she added, noting that she had consumed many types of alcohol at once. "I mixed too many things; I should have stuck to one drink," she admitted.
By the end of the evening, the bride lost consciousness, forcing her husband to call an ambulance. "My husband called the ambulance. I don't remember anything that happened," she said. Doctors determined that she was simply intoxicated and did not need to be taken to the hospital.
Footage of the incident was shared on social media, showing the bride unconscious in the ambulance still wearing her white dress. "Oh my God, how embarrassing," she reacted afterward. Despite the initial embarrassment, Danielle says she now sees the situation with humor and emphasizes that it didn't ruin her wedding. She urges future brides not to consume alcohol on an empty stomach, stressing that the stress of the big day affected her condition.
