It did not meet the standards/ AKU blocks over 7 tons of cheese in Shkodër, the activity of a dairy is closed.

The National Food Authority in Shkodër has announced that during an inspection of the entity "Nail Idrizi," which was operating a dairy activity, it blocked 7,196 kg of white cow cheese. The inspection body also ordered the immediate suspension of the entity's activity until compliance with hygiene-sanitary standards is achieved.

AKU reports that administrative measures have been taken against the entity: A fine of 300,000 lekë for violating hygiene conditions, based on Law No. 9863 "On Food," Article 68, paragraph 1, letter "h." A fine of 100,000 lekë for violating product traceability requirements.

Furthermore, AKU informs that inspections will continue intensively to ensure food safety and consumer protection.
