Prime Minister Edi Rama participated in the Socialist Party assembly in Lezhë. In his speech, he focused on corruption, stating that wages and pensions cannot be increased if corruption has also grown. "I am not saying that we have eradicated corruption, but I am saying something that can be verified in several ways. Never before has Albania fought corruption as in this phase, and secondly, corruption is lower than ever before. The noise is greater, partly due to the fight, but also due to the results. How can there be an increase in corruption and wages at the same time? That does not happen. How can there be an increase in corruption and pensions at the same time? That does not happen. These two things do not go together. They are all things that do not go with each other," said Rama.
